DAR Research

Class description: The DAR library in Washington DC is reportedly the 3rd largest repository of genealogical materials, after Salt Lake City and Allen County in Indiana. I hope to describe how one can navigate their website and find materials online.

Instructor biography: Sharon Terwilleger volunteers at the Fenton History Center’s library and has been researching her family and her husband’s family for many years. She joined the local chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution in 2001 after proving her lineage to a soldier who served in the American Revolution.
